ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The 2014 Gateway Storm Fest held at the First Baptist Church in Arnold had a little bit of everything. There was a weather balloon, AquaFOX, an extended summer forecast and a question and answer session about severe weather.

Dave Murray, Glenn Zimmerman, John Fuller and Angela Hutti along with members of National Weather Service put on a show for the audience. The topic of the forum was tornadoes and severe weather. But, audience members got a surprise at the end of the program. The FOX 2 weather team introduced a new member, Anne Elise Parks.

Parks was introduced the the group via Facetime. She is still working at a TV station in Terra Haute Indiana and will officially be joining the the FOX 2 and News 11 team next month.

what does this “weather disco” phrase mean? I do not live in the area. Where I live we have NO weather really, its the same day in and day out. Some days I just can’t take another blue sky.

I’m interested in storm chasing. Last year I could click and choose the storm chaser I wanted to watch or follow. Now it seems like I don’t have that option unless I’m going about it all wrong. Please let me know what I can do on my end so that I’m able to follow with the chaser’s. I used to be able to click on the car or cars and I could follow along. Please give me the information that I need.

    Thank you,

    Karen
