Richmond Heights, MO (KTVI) – 53-year-old Samuel Guynn was arrested by Richmond Heights Police after he tried to lift four expensive purses from the Macy’s Store at the St. Louis Galleria.

Police allege Guynn was spotted by store security as he picked up two Dooney & Bourke handbags and hid them in a shopping bag.  When he left the store without paying, security officers caught up with him.  Inside the bag they found a total of four purses and three wallets, all apparently stolen from the store.  The items were valued just over $1000.00

Guynn is charged with felony stealing and was held on $7500.00 bond.

I remember when the Galleria first opened, it was a way to shop and avoid the riff raff from Northwest Plaza and others..Now, its just as hood as can be…Now the only hope is West county, Chesterfield, or mid Rivers….sad
