ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A new video game created by the people who brought you “Strange Donuts” has just been released to the world.  The app is called, “Strange Donuts vs. the World.” It was created by Happy Badger studios.

Players in the game roller-blade down the mean streets of Maplewood, MO.  Players roll down Sutton Boulevard trying collect coins, butter cake, donuts and avoiding obstacles.

You’ll have plenty to see while avoiding cops and looking for strange new power-ups.  Schlafly Bottleworks, Pastaria and about a dozen other local landmarks are in the app.

Strange Donuts says that there will be contests and promotions for high scores.

The description on the developer’s website states, “Strap on your wheels and grab some donuts, because you’re on the run from the cops! Roll past dragons, dinosaurs, and UFOs, as you collect donuts and coins! Dodge wild obstacles like alligators, zombie hands, radio flyers, street pizza, and way more. Toss donuts or jump over the cops on your tail for unlawfully skating on the sidewalk. Grab “Strange Donuts” for bodacious power-ups to get a sick advantage over the po-po. Use the coins you collect to unlock tubular new characters with special starter donuts, or to roll on from the game over screen to help boost your high score. Cowabunga!
