ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A Pattonville High School senior received a graduation gift she will soon not forget.  Jordyn Wilson was promised a new car if she maintained her 4-point-oh grade point average through her senior year.  She did maintain a 4-point-oh when her family fell on hard times.

Alexis Wilson, Jordyn's father told her that she couldn't get her new car because his engine in his own car blew up and finances became an issue.  That's when Jordyn took the situation into her own hands and got a part-time job at Schnucks and was planning on buying her own car this summer.

But on Wednesday, on graduation day, Jordyn received her own Buick Rendezvous in the school parking lot with her cap and gown on.  Her reaction was priceless.  Despite having a part-time job Jordyn, accomplished academic honors this year and is planning on attending the University of Central Missouri in the fall.
