Judge Michael Cook checks enters Florida prison as an inmate

(KTVI) – Former St. Clair County Judge Michael Cook has arrived at a minimum security federal prison in Pensacola, Florida and is now an inmate.

Cook was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to misdemeanor heroin possession and felony weapons possession.

He was at the center of a scandal that included the death of former associate county judge, Joe Christ, Who died from a cocaine overdose at Cook’s family hunting lodge.
