ST. LOUIS, MO (AP) – Minor flooding continues along a portion of the Mississippi River in Iowa, Missouri and Illinois, but impact is minimal.

Spring rains have pushed the Mississippi a foot or two above flood stage from southern Iowa to near St. Louis. The river remains well within its banks from St. Louis and to the south.

Farm fields and a few roads are wet, but few homes or businesses are impacted. The National Weather Service predicts the river will drop below flood stage later this week and early next week at most locations.
