Victoria’s Secret shoplifter opts for sweatpants and T-shirt

Chesterfield, MO (KTVI) – Chesterfield Police questioned and then arrested a woman after she allegedly shoplifted items from a shop inside Chesterfield Mall.  31-year-old Lauren L. Battle faces a felony charge of stealing after she confessed to the theft.

According to police, an employee at the Victoria’s Secret store at Chesterfield Mall watched Battle as she took a t-shirt and sweatpants from a display in the front of the store.   The police report indicates Battle then put the items in her purse and walked into another store.  Police arrested her there and recovered the stolen merchandise.

Battle was held on $5,000.00 bond.

    If that is truly her mug shot from June 2013, then she has been in trouble before. Just pay for the merchandise. It will be cheaper in the long run, not only for you, but the taxpayers who have to pay for the prison time you will get!
