ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - More than 200 Americans die from infections like MRSA daily.  Antibiotic-resistant super-bugs are so serious that the World Health Organization believes it threatens the achievements of modern medicine.  The FDA recently approved a new drug to combat acute skin and soft tissue infections, called Dalvance.

Dr. Nirav Patel, Infection Control Officer at SLU Hospital, joins FOX 2's John Pertzborn to talk about these new treatments.
