(KTVI) – Fans won’t see Roman numerals included in the 2016 Super Bowl national logo.  After 40 years, the NFL has announced that they will be referred to as Super Bowl 50 instead of Super Bowl L.  The change, however, is not permanent.

The league plans to revert back to its original logo in 2017.
