Three new habitats at the St. Louis Zoo

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Three new habitat exhibits are set to open at The Zoo this weekend.  There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday for the Purina Prairie Dog Preserve.  The Zoo is also adding a new species called a painted dog.  Nestle Purina pet care company donated $1.2 million dollars to the zoo for the project.

The new Sun Bear Forest and Andean Bear Range are set to open Saturday in the River's Edge area.  The Andean Bears and Malaysian Sun Bears are moving from the Bear Bluffs to their new exhibits.
