WASHINGTON, Mo. (AP) _ Eastern Missouri police are seeking a misdemeanor charge against a man accused of placing a hidden camera in a dressing room at a local department store.

The Washington Missourian (http://bit.ly/1qW1ryC) reports workers at the Washington Target store found a pinhole camera concealed in an object that had been taped to a wall below a seat in the fitting room.

Police say the red-painted dome that contained the camera and camera card came to the workers’ attention when it fell off the wall on June 8.

Detective Sgt. Steve Sitzes says the camera was positioned in a way that nothing above the knees could be seen.

Police reviewed in-store video and identified a possible suspect. A police interview with the 37-year-old man ended quickly after he asked to call his attorney.
