STL Moms: Kids and Hydration

(KTVI) – Staying hydrated is important year round, but it's a little harder in the summer as kids play outdoors in the heat.

A recent study looked at kids attending summer camp and found that 50 to 75 percent of the kids were dehydrated, and 25 to 30 percent showed serious signs of dehydration.

Jen McDaniel with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics appeared earlier on FOX 2 News in the Morning with some ways to help kids stay hydrated.
