(KTVI) - Fans of the Chipotle restaurants no longer have to choose between their favorite spot for Latin food and their love of local produce.
The company announced it will work with more than 45 local farms across the United States to get customers the freshest bell peppers, cilantro, red onions, jalapeno peppers, oregano, romaine lettuce, and tomatoes – when the produce is in season, of course.
In the metro area, the company is working with EarthDance farming apprentices like Sara Crile. She was this year's Chipotle EarthDance Scholarship winner. This was the second year Chipotle provided such a scholarship.
