FENTON, MO (KTVI) - Around 4:25 a.m. Tuesday morning, police received a call reporting an armed robbery at the BP Convenience Store located in the 100 block of Old Sugar Creek Road.  Authorities say a male suspect, armed with a butcher knife, approached the store clerk demanding cash from the register.  He advised the clerk that the robbery wasn't personal.  As he began rummaging through the business office, the clerk safely left the store and called 911 from a nearby McDonalds.

No one was injured.

The robber fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 5'10", slender build weighing around 150 pounds.  He was wearing a black hoodie, jeans, black and white Nike tennis shoes, wearing one glove and is approximately 20-years-old.
