Person of interest identified in attempted child abduction case

LITCHFIELD, IL – Illinois State Police report several attempted child abductions during the July 4th weekend in the Gillespie and Benld area. The suspect was described as a thin white male driving a gold Ford truck. Today, the tuck has been located and the police have found a person of interest.  This person is cooperating with the investigation.
