DIXON, MO (KTVI) – There are new details tonight in the discovery of the remains of a child in Dixon, Missouri last fall. Investigators say they’re getting closer to identifying the remains. They now have pictures of what they believe the child looked like.

Forensic pathologists say they believe the child was between 8 and 13-years-old when they died. But they still haven’t determined if the remains are that of a boy or girl

The child was most likely of mestizo ancestry, which is a mixture of Native American, Hispanic, Latino and Mexican.

Anyone with information about the child is urged to call the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
