Tow truck driver charged with stealing $20k

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A truck driver is charged with stealing more than $20,000 from the tow truck business he worked for.

According to the probable cause statement from the Hazelwood Police Department the alleged suspect is 50-yeaer-old Brian Kitchell, police say Kitchell pocketed money from customers that made cash payments for towing and impound fees.

    great cash management! he had to have had help as he did not rake in 20 big ones in one day. dispatch records would indicate how many hooks he made in a day. I paid cash for tow, operator filled out receipt, and he would have had to work nonstop for weeks to pull in 20,000 in greenstamps.
