Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco….THURSDAY…JULY 17, 2014:

***Here we go again…more great summer weather in and around STL…put another day on the top “10” list***

THURSDAY:

Partly to mostly sunny skies…really nice
WINDS: North 10-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 79 degrees

THURSDAY NIGHT:

Partly cloudy and mild
WINDS: Southeast 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 62 DEGREES.

FRIDAY:

Partly to mostly sunny and pleasant
WINDS: Northeast 10-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 79 DEGREES

A little warmer over the weekend…more of a summer feel getting into next week

THE WEATHER DISCO:

No major changes Thursday and Friday…with a slow warm up for the weekend and into next week…no crazy heat in sight. Watching an impulse of low pressure over the central and southern plains…our dome of high pressure will block this out and force it to track well to our south…so not a concern. The warming trend will come with a rather weird weather pattern that will develop as we get into next week…high pressure over the rockies and what seems to be a cut-off low pressure over the Great Lakes and the Ohio Valley…warmer yes…again nothing extreme…becasue this will keep us in a northerly flow…a northerly flow that we can’t really trust this time around…so the idea of some spot storms coming back into the picture.

Record Lows:

Thursday morning: 57 in 1976
