(KTVI) - Melanie Broyles comes to FOX2 News at 9 a.m. to explain some real-world rules for online dating.
1.  Send a "Thanks, but no thanks" reply to emails from people that don't interest you.
2.  Starting with questions like "Where do you work?" or "Where do you live?" can be premature before meeting someone. Take things slow, and be ready to set boundaries if you are the target of those questions.
3.  If you don't feel sparks fly after the first date, don't disappear. Just send a note saying, "Thank you for the date. But, I don't think we are a match."
