Marijuana growing operation busted in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – Canoers on the Meramec River helped break case Franklin County narcotics officers had been working for a while.

The location of the marijuana growing operation was near St. Clair Missouri on a dead end street called Pickle Ford Road. The property backed up to the river which provide the break officers needed.

Narcotics officers found 60 marijuana plants being grown in an operation based mostly inside a house hidden deep in the woods.

    He must have not been giving the narcotics unit there cut of the money. Come on…. really? Going out and busting plant smokers instead of facing the real problem in franklin county, meth/ heroin.

    So your telling me canoers broke the law and trespassed to see what was inside someone’s home, sounds rather fishy to me, no wonder property owners do not like canoers. As for Franklin County “corruption” is a good word.
