ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Thousands of bike riders took to the streets in downtown St. Louis for the 51st annual Moonlight Ramble. The world's original nighttime bike ride started south of Busch Stadium just after midnight.

Riders of all ages participated in the leisurely ride under the night sky. They came from all over the region, decorating their bikes and bodies to show their support.

Some of the proceeds from Moonlight Ramble will benefit Hostelling International, a network of over 4,000 hostels in over 80 countries.
