Hazy and humid

LOW: 80 degrees.

SUNDAY:

Sunny, hot and Hazy
WINDS: Southwest 5-15 mph
HIGH: 100 degrees

The heat wave goes into next week…should break down on Wednesday with scattered rain and storms and cooler temperatures..thanks to a cool front

THE WEATHER DISCO:

Now the first heat wave of August…we had one in July and one in June…The large southwest high pressure system is now in ncontrol…the northwest flow…the main flow of this summer is gone. The high means a sinking motion in the atmsophere so no rain and no storms and lots of heat…hottest point of each day 3 to 5pm…so keep that in mind…especially with all the high school sports going on….this heat wave is our best shot of 100 degrees this summer…records will fall short…hot but not that hot.
