KANSAS CITY, MO — A Missouri woman upset with her US mail service decided to take matters into her own hands.  Susan Howard Perry started recording the mail man’s daily deliveries according to KDAF.  What she found appalled her.

Perry was expecting an expensive package and waited to record the arrival.  She captured the mail man throwing her mail on the ground.  Now, she finally had proof.

After years of complaining, she decided to post to Facebook to get some results, and the support started pouring in.

“He showed up at my front door, and literally his boss had seen the video on Facebook, and he said, ‘I apologize,’” she explained.

This is part of a statement released by the U.S. Postal Service, “An investigation into the incident is underway and if this video is accurate, then the behavior on the part of the employee shown in the video is not only unacceptable to the Postal Service, it threatens to tarnish the reputation and high level of trust that the vast majority of our employees work so hard to uphold.”

The post office says it is taking action to make sure this does not happen again.
