FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) -A memorial honoring Michael Brown went up in flames Tuesday morning.
The makeshift was memorial located on Canfield Drive near the scene of the shooting. It was one of two in the area dedicated to the teen who was shot and killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson on August 9.
Residents say the fire started around 6:30 a.m. The memorial was filled with stuffed animals and surrounded by candles. Flames from the candles likely sparked the small fire. Nearby residents cleaned up the scene after the fire was put out.
No one was hurt.
