ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A little boy’s dream of going to a playoff game is coming true tonight. Liam Myrick is from Houston Missouri and he’s a huge Cardinals fan who is living with stage four cancer. According to his parents, he may not be here next baseball season; but when you see this little boys smile, you can tell he’s living it life to the max.

Liam may be a little shy but his spirit is anything but.

Liam was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of three. He’s undergone 14 rounds of chemotherapy, had nine surgeries, and 10 rounds of radiation.

Liam spends countless nights in the hospital, but that doesn’t take away from this little guy’s spirit. He’s always rooting for the Cardinals and his favorite player Jason Mott.

Mott may have not made the playoff roster, but the Cardinals made it to the 3rd game of the NLDS and the icing on cake for the whole family is that they got to be here to watch it together.

I spoke with his mother Shawna and you can tell she’s been Liam's rock. She says every time her family’s back has been up against the wall, the community has come through.

Liam’s may be only 6, but he’s had so many wonderful experiences thanks to the public's generosity.
