POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (AP) _ Two southeast Missouri men are facing charges after allegedly shooting into a home and ramming a police car.

Poplar Bluff police officers responded Thursday to a report of gunshots fired into a home. The occupant identified 32-year-old Gregory Kammerer and 26-year-old Kevin Busby, both of Poplar Bluff, as possible suspects.

An officer spotted Kammerer’s vehicle a short time later. Police say Kammerer sped away, eventually ramming a police vehicle. Officer Dusty Johnson sustained minor injuries in the collision.

Kammerer and Busby are both charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle at an inhabitable structure. Busby is also charged with drug possession.

Bond for both was set at $500,000.
