(STLMoms)- Do you want to explore the Zoo after dark during the special Halloween evenings? If so, Boo at the Zoo Nights is just for you!

Margie Ellisor joined us live from the Saint Louis Zoo with more.

This non-scary, kid-friendly Halloween experience is filled with laughs and adventure. Children are encouraged to wear costumes.

Kids ages 12 and under will receive a treat bag upon exiting.

Note: This is not a trick-or-treating experience.

Haunted Hollow with creepy caverns and sinister swamps beware! You can float around the Zoo's dramatically decorated grounds nightly between 5:30 & 8:30pm. No reservations necessary.


Ticket prices are $6 for members, $7 for non-members and children under 2 are free.

There is a $1 discount for children 2 to 12 who are in costume.

Parking is free on the South Lot only.

(North Lot and North Entrance will be open on select nights: Oct. 17, 18, 24, 25, 30.)

Discounts do not apply when purchasing tickets online or by phone.

The Zoo's wheelchair, stroller and ECV rental fees apply for this event.
