Protesters gather in Ferguson for “Million Mask March”

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI)- Three protestors were arrested and a news vehicle was vandalized in Ferguson overnight. The protesters are gearing up for training sessions to prepare for the grand jury's decision in the Michael Brown case.

After gathering at the Ferguson Police Department on Wednesday night, protesters marched into the neighborhood near Elizabeth Avenue.

The demonstrators shut down the intersection of South Florissant Road and Airport Road for several minutes. The group then made their way back to the police department after officers told them they couldn't keep marching in the streets.

Officers in protective gear guarded the main parking lot to the department.

A number of demonstrators were wearing masks as part of the "Million Mask March" event organized by the internet activist group Anonymous.

On November 5th, several protesters gathered around the world. According to Anonymous, Wednesday's protests reached 481 cities.

No injuries have been reported.

It's unclear what charges those five protesters may face.
