Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…THE WEEKEND…November 8-9, 2014

*** The next cold front rockets by early Saturday morning…windy and cold on Saturday…pretty nice Sunday and Monday…then the bottom falls out Tuesday***

SATURDAY:

A mix of clouds and sun…gusty winds and colder
WINDS: NORTHWEST 15-30 M.P.H.
HIGH: 50 degrees…DROPPING ALL AFTERNOON

SATURDAY NIGHT:

Clear skies and cold
WINDS: North 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 32 DEGREES.

SUNDAY:

Partly to mostly sunny skies, light winds..a nice day
WINDS: South 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 59 DEGREES

up to 65 and breezy on Monday…much colder Tuesday

THE WEATHER DISCO:

Still all about the northwest flow…a flow that keeps control for several days…one front flying by today…no real moisture to work with…the Gulf of Mexico is shut off…another front flying by on Monday night…limited moisture…maybe a spotty mix of light rain and wet snow…this front means biz…for a solid cold snap over the eastern two-thirds of the nation(including STL..going all the way to the Gulf)….very cold for this time of year Tuesday into Friday of next week. Ahead of that front…pretty nice weather Sunday and Monday…the trend of mild Monday’s still in play.
