Did you know that a dropped penny won’t kill you?  Or that bananas don’t grow on trees?  Researchers debunked over 50 common misconceptions and posted them in one handy chart.

The work is done by Information is Beautiful.   London based  data journalist and information designer David McCandless organized the group’s work into this info-graphic.  You can see all of their work on this spreadsheet.
