ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Boeing wins a multi-billion dollar order for new 737 planes.

The company is part of an $8.5 billion deal with a Japanese aviation company. As part of the deal, Boeing will build 80 737 max 8 models that will be delivered beginning in 2018.

The increased demand comes as Asia’s travel industry continues to grow.
