ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A man used a sledge-hammer to knock a hole in the St. Louis Credit Union on Chippewa early Tuesday. He was a diligent burglar. Police say surveillance video shows it took him 35 minutes to break into building.
Despite the damage, his efforts were for naught. An employee who came to the scene told police that all the property and cash was secured and nothing was taken from the business.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5’8", and about180 lbs. He was wearing a blue striped long sleeve shirt and a black mask.
