ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The practice of using snow days is thawing at some schools across the US.

Kids will still be able to stay home if the weather gets bad. But, they’ll also have to log onto their computers to attend virtual school.

Some private schools and public school systems are providing the laptops and tablets for students and teachers to plow forward with their lessons as snow plows clear the streets.
