With no other heavy hitters released this weekend, Mocking Jay is poised to pass the $100 million debut of transformers: age of extinction set back in June and that would make it the biggest opening of the year.

This father-daughter duo makes it a point to come out and watch every Hungry Games movie together opening weekend. In fact, many folks do Mocking Jay is expecting to rake in $130M-$150M this weekend but some analysts say that the movie could pull in a whopping $170 million. Last year, Catching Fire grossed just under $162-million opening weekend.
