RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Michael Brown protesters are set to march in the Richmond Heights area Friday morning, according to social media. It could be a similar scene to what black Friday shoppers saw overnight at a Target in Brentwood. A few dozen protesters showed up at the Target.

After chanting inside the store, they went outside and continued to voice their frustration over a justice system they say consistently fails black Americans, including Michael Brown. After a few minutes they peacefully left the area.

No one was arrested.

Police officers and the National Guard were prepared for protests at stores. Both could be found at Walmart stores on West Florissant, in Kirkwood and Maplewood.

They used social media to find out where protesters planned on gathering, but we don’t believe any protesters ever came to those stores.

However, protests were held at stores in St. Charles and Manchester.

No protesters were arrested at any of the stores overnight.
