ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A service dog taken during a robbery in the Central West End is reunited with his owner. Polo was inside his owner’s car on Lindell last Tuesday night when two women robbed the owner and took Polo with them.

A surveillance photo shows a dark-colored minivan used in the robbery.

Another woman purchased Polo on Sunday from an unknown woman in O’Fallon Park.

After posting pictures of him online, she later found out her dog was the missing service dog.

She contacted the victim and Polo was reunited with his original owner.

Police are still investigating the robbery.
