(KTVI)- On January 1st, a new law goes into effect in Missouri that may confuse some women after they receive a mammogram. Dr. Theresa Schwartz, Breast Surgeon at St. Louis University Hospital explain.

The new law that will require mammography providers to notify women categorized as having dense breast tissue about their condition.
