St. Louis man charged with murder and the shooting of a police officer

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office has issued charges against Dominic Irons for the shooting an off-duty police officer and killing a man whose body was found inside a burned out car.

Both crimes happened on December 19th.

An off-duty St. Louis police officer was shot several times while driving in the 3800 block of North 25th street in his personal vehicle.

Five hours later, investigators found Terrell Beasley dead in the back seat of a burning car on Thrush.

Beasely had been shot twice.

Irons is charged with second-degree murder, assault and armed criminal action.
