ST. LOUIS - The trainers at Pilates + Yoga have ways to keep your body flexible and firm.
Trainers say they follow the tradition set by Joe Pilates during World War I to help people with injuries or prosthetic keep moving.
The goal is to have all of your movements flow from your core. Trainers say this can be the difference between "making things happen" and "letting things happen", which can cause injury.
The practice can increase flexibility, while tightening up muscles without the use of weights. Pilates + Yoga even offers free classes on Mondays.
