(KTVI)- "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" has opened at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. The themes of play, adapted by Todd Kreidler from the well known 1967 movie, are still as relevant as they have ever been. A progressive couple’s proud liberal sensibilities are put to the test when their daughter arrives home with an unexpected fiancé, bringing up questions of questions of race, fear and cultural beliefs.

The Rep’s production marks the first time “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” will be staged in St. Louis. The play runs through Feb. 1, 2015, at the Loretto-Hilton Center on the campus of Webster University.
