ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Kevin Costner has taken many risks in his decades-long film career. From directing and starring in the western epic Dances With Wolves, to taking chances with post-apocalyptic subject matter like Waterworld and The Postman.
For his latest film, Black or White, Costner took a rather large risk by putting up his own money to get the movie made.
In the film, two families fight for custody of a little girl they both love deeply. Kevin Costner plays the girl’s grandfather, going up against the child’s paternal grandmother, played by Octavia Spencer.
Costner sits down with Kevin Steincross for an interview at the Peabody Opera House.
