LOS ANGELES, CA (KTVI) – FOX's hit show "New Girl" is back after the winter break for the remainder of its fourth season. Actor Lamorne Morris who plays "Winston Bishop" in the comedy series says the laughs continue for the roommates this spring.

In the winter premiere, Bishop fulfills his dream of becoming a police officer. The roommates act like they're excited for him, but they are less than supportive of his career choice and the training officer responsible for protecting him, played by petite comedienne Nasim Pedrad.

"(Nasim Pedrad) is awesome," said Morris. "She's funny, talented, beautiful, and all that stuff but she's a 'she,' and she's tiny. So she's supposed to be protecting me and Coach (Damon Wayans, Jr.) and Nick (Jake Johnson) don't think she can do it. Obviously, its 'New Girl' so it's going to take us into some weird places."

Morris says this season; the roommates will travel to Portland, Ore. for Jess' (Zooey Deschanel) dad's wedding. Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner will reprise their roles as Jess' divorced parents for the wedding episode.

For the Valentine's Day episode, Morris says the roommates hit the town for a bar crawl to help Nick get over a break up.

"New Girl" airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT on FOX 2.
