ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Another hearing is underway Thursday morning at St. Louis City Hall on plans for a citizens police oversight board.

Last week’s public hearing on the issue ended in chaos with pushing and shoving. No charges were filed.

An aldermanic committee is set to vote on the idea Thursday. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Alderman Antonio French has filed an alternative proposal. It would give the police review board subpoena powers.
