That's a response coordinator talking about this weekend's rescue of a whale entangled in fishing line.
The whale was spotted earlier this month off Hawaii’s big island.
The mammal's tale was wrapped several times with fishing line, forcing it to swim primarily with its flippers.
The whale still has a few feet of line embedded in a wound, but that should fall out over time.
