Suspect charged in Dellwood Market looting

CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis County Police say 18-year-old Alexander Irwin has been charged with multiple counts of burglary, stealing under $500 and the theft of a firearm. The Spanish Lake teenage was charged in connection to the looting of the Dellwood Market several days after the shooting of Michael Brown last August.

Authorities also say Irwin along with others broke into a Spanish Lake home last September and stole two pistols.

Irwin is currently in custody for an unrelated crime in Illinois.
