Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…THURSDAY…February 26, 2015

*** The clipper slides and fades for Thursday…snow in and out but very, very cold returns…a long lasting weather event for Saturday night into Tuesday…a very active weather pattern in play.***

THURSDAY:

Snow comes to a end as flurries…breezy and back to cold
WINDS: North 10-20 M.P.H.
HIGH: 25 DEGREES..a slow drop

THURSDAY NIGHT:

Partly cloudy and bitter cold
WINDS: North 5-15 M.P.H.
LOW: 5 DEGREES

FRIDAY:

Partly sunny…lots of cold…a bitter cold day
WINDS: Northwest 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 19 DEGREES

Quiet and cold Saturday…Snow develops Saturday night and much of Sunday…certainly looking like an accumulating snow…still too early for numbers

THE WEATHER DISCO:

The clipper makes the exit…taking the snow with it and allowing some impressive cold to sweep in. Bitter cold the rule for Thursday night, Friday and Friday night into Saturday morning. Then a complex and interesting weather pattern takes hold…a double system…with snow Saturday night and Sunday with that acculmuating snow…lets give it some time…then a little break–with a sloppy system in play late Monday, Monday night and Tuesday…a mix of rain, sleet and snow…focus on rain. We are working on “Stormfest” for the Spring…more info on the way
