ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – This cold weather is perfect for celebrating International Polar Bear Day. The St. Louis Zoo is marking the day by dropping its thermostat settings by two degrees in its administrative offices.  They’re trying to raise awareness of climate changes affecting the polar bear’s natural habitats.

The new Polar Bear Point at the Zoo is set to open this summer. The Penguin and Puffin Coast next door is set to reopen next Thursday after 18 months of work.
