MoDOT closing interstate ramps for St. Patrick’s Day parade downtown

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation is closing several interstate ramps in the downtown area on Saturday morning ahead of the St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Crews will close the following ramps:

• from eastbound I-64 to 20th and Chestnut from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• from westbound I-64 to 21st and Market from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• from eastbound I-64 to 6th Street (the last Missouri exit) from 7 to 10 a.m.
• from westbound I-64 to 3100 Market from 7 to 11 a.m.
• the Broadway ramp to westbound from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Route 100 (Chouteau) will be closed between Broadway and Tucker from 7:30 to 10 a.m. In addition, Route 100 (Chouteau) will be closed between Graham to Ecoff on Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. for the Hibernian Parade.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
• I-64, St. Louis City, the Poplar Street Bridge ramp to eastbound I-44 is closed until mid-2015.
• I-64, St. Louis City, the right lane is closed westbound on the Poplar Street Bridge until mid-2015.
• I-64, St. Louis County, auxiliary lane closed westbound from Timberlake Manor to Chesterfield Parkway East until spring 2015.
• Route 115, St. Louis County, one lane closed eastbound and westbound from North Hanley to Florissant through summer 2015.  In addition, there will be no access from Natural Bridge Road to Florissant Road.
• Route 61, Jefferson County, three lanes closed around the clock at Glaize Creek until late May 2015.  Traffic signals will direct traffic through the work zone.

• I-44, St. Louis City, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., westbound entry ramp from Washington Street closed.
• I-44, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed eastbound and westbound at Compton. The ramp from westbound to Grand will also be closed.
• I-64, St. Louis City, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., two lanes closed eastbound on the Poplar Street Bridge.
• I-44, St. Louis County, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., one right lane closed eastbound at the Antire overpass.
• I-44, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound between the Meramec River and I-270.
• I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed westbound between Mason Road and Chesterfield Parkway East.
• Route 30, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Weber Hill and Seibert.
• Route 100, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from the Ellisville city limits east.
• Route 30, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., one eastbound and westbound turn lane onto Route MM will be closed.
• Route 67, Jefferson County, until 2 p.m. Friday, one lane closed northbound between Route JJ and the Jefferson/St. Francois county line
• Route 67, Jefferson County, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., one lane closed northbound from south of Route CC to the I-55 interchange.
• Route 67, Jefferson County, 6 a.m. to noon, one lane closed southbound from the I-55 interchange to Buck Creek Road.
• Route AT, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound or southbound on the Bourbese River Bridge. Crews will flag traffic through the work zone when placing concrete.

Friday, March 13
• I-44, St. Louis City, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., westbound entry ramp from Washington Street closed.
• I-44, St. Louis City, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed eastbound and westbound at Compton.  The ramp from westbound to Grand will also be closed.
• I-64, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed westbound between Mason Road and Chesterfield Parkway East.
• Route 100, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound from the Ellisville city limits east.
• Route 340, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed on Warson.
• Route 30, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., one eastbound and westbound turn lane onto Route MM will be closed.
• Route 67, Jefferson County, until 2 p.m., one lane closed northbound between Route JJ and the Jefferson/St. Francois county line
• Route AT, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound or southbound on the Bourbese River Bridge. Crews will flag traffic through the work zone when placing concrete.

Saturday, March 14
• I-64, St. Louis City, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the ramp from eastbound to 20th and Chestnut will be closed for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
• I-64, St. Louis City, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the ramp from westbound to 21st and Market will be closed for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
• I-64, St. Louis City, 7 to 10 a.m., the ramp from eastbound to 6th Street (the last Missouri exit) will be closed for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
