DALLAS , TC — You can watch the birth of a baby giraffe from a stream from Animal Planet. The calf is being born at the Dallas Zoo.
Katie the Giraffe is known as one of the friendliest and most charismatic of the Dallas Zoo’s large herd. She gave birth to a new calf just after 6pm on Friday. The little giraffe will now be attended to by her mother. The baby may walk soon.
The video shows the indoor facilities for giraffes at the Zoo’s habitat, including the maternity stall. There are 8 cameras set to capture every angle of the birth.
