WEBSTER GROVES, MO. (KTVI) – A female victim of a fire in Webster Groves has been identified.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Webster Groves Police Lt. Andy Miller identified the woman as Anne Tkach, thanks to dental records. Tkach, 48, died in the Webster Groves house fire on April 9. She was with her father, Peter Tkach, 79, who was injured in the fire. While her funeral was last Saturday, this is the first time police have released her name.

Tkach was a musician-singer for many rock and folk groups, including Nadine. In June, Tkach was set to rejoin the band for Twangfest.

Fire Chief Mike Caprigilone said the cause of the fire is still now known and the investigation is still open. He also said there was no suspicion of foul play. However, a lightning strike is still being considered.
